The Special Olympics’ Project UNIFY is supported by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the US Department of Education. It is a K-12 intervention that strategically activates youth, engages educators and promotes communities of acceptance and inclusion where all young people are agents of change – fostering respect and dignity for people with Intellectual Disabilities, utilizing the sports and education initiatives of Special Olympics.
